A village with history #

During this period, the town was integrated into the Kingdom of Leon, suffering the conflicts between the Leonese and Portuguese kingdoms for control of the border. Later, in the Modern Age, Sotillo was integrated into the province of the Lands of the Count of Benavente. Finally, around 1850, the former municipality of Sotillo de Sanabria was integrated into that of Cobreros.
