The Cernadilla Reservoir, located in the province of Zamora, Castile and Leon, is an impressive body of water that extends through the Sanabria region. This reservoir, located on the stretch of the Tera River, is a natural gem that you cannot miss if you are in the region.

With a flooded area exceeding 1,394 hectares and a total volume of 255 hm³, the Cernadilla Reservoir is one of the largest in Castile and Leon. In fact, it is the third largest reservoir in Iberdrola in the region, only surpassed by Almendra and Ricobayo, also in the province of Zamora.
